Keen On Driving offers driving lessons throughout the Rossendale Valley. We were established in January 2026 and are committed making our pupils safe drivers for life. The owner of Keen On Driving is Daniel Keenan and he recieved his training with Linda Edwards from Express Driver Training and his mentorship from Andy Scanlon at Scan School of Motoring. Daniel Spent nearly three years working at Scan, firstly whilst he was training and then as a fully qualified driving instructor.

Throughout this training and mentorship Daniel developed teaching strategies for every pupil and he soon realised that everyone learns in their own unique way. Daniel has successfully taught the most anxious pupils to pass their driving test as well as pupils who might appear a little overconfident at times and do not always at first realise the risks and dangers attached to driving.

Being a driving instructor is not necessarily about teaching a pupil to pass their driving test. It is about creating safe drivers for life. This is why we do not focus on test routes but allow our pupils to drive to a wide variety of areas to gain some real life experience. We of course visit areas that can be used on a driving test but we like to think that our pupils have gained enough experience of real life driving to know hat to do when they get there. And if the do not then we don't just tell them what to do, we ask why we need to do a certain thing, why is that important. We get our pupils thinking, because ultimately that is the best way to learn.

We offer driving lessons throughout Rossendale, including Rawtenstall, Haslingden Waterfoot and Crawshawbooth as well as the surrounding areas. Weekly lessons or intensive courses available.
